Many believe (or are taught) that the true Israel of Yahweh are those who reside in the man made nation of Israel formed in 1948. However, the promise of the New Covenant is given unto a Spiritual Israel, representing all believers who have a personal (and faithful) relationship with Yahweh (John 4:23-24). For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved (Rom 10:13).
The promise of the Old Testament Law was fulfilled through Our Messiah The Savior. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second (Heb 10:9-10, 2 Cor 3:14). The letter of the Old Law is unto death, while the Spirit of the New Law is unto everlasting life. One was written on tablets of stone, the other on our hearts (2 Cor 3:3-6, Heb 8:10, Eze 36:26-28, Jer 31:33).
With the establishment of the New Covenant, those who will become a part of the family of Yahweh, must be born again in order to receive the promise of eternal life. When this transformational event occurs, the Spirit Of Yahweh (which is not a separate person of the trinity) dwells within us (Pro 1:23, Eze 36:27, Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17-18).
1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of Yahweh, and that the Spirit of Yahweh dwells within you?
Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter
Those who are partakers of the New Covenant celebrate the birth, life, testimony, death and resurrection of our Savior and Messiah who is the image of Yahweh. However, those who follow after strange doctrines that pervert the gospel of Messiah will be accursed (Gal 1:6-9).
The Messiah revealed that David (in the Spirit) called his Messiah Yahweh. Refer to the cutting edge study guide that one reader called revolutionary. It is entitled, the Lord said unto my Lord, (Mark 12:35-37, Mat 22:42-45).
Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Messiah; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto Yahweh
Yahweh also declared that He would make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah (Jer 31:31-33). The identity of who He would establish this covenant with is essential if we are to understand all of the characteristics of the true Spiritual Israel (Gen 12:3, Heb 8:9).
Mal 2:11 Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem, for Judah hath profaned the holiness of Yahweh which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god
The tribes of Israel, that included Judah, were at one time the bride of Yahweh, as they were Spiritually married to Him. However, they both committed incredibly wicked acts of whoredoms against Him. Those that violated the conditions of the Holy Covenant caused the promise to become null and void (Deut 28:1-64). Messiah (falsely called Christ) is that promise realized.
Jer 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also
Sometimes a bad marriage must end with a divorce especially when adultery is involved.
The house of Judah was also put away for great wickedness. Messiah declared “Behold, your house is left unto you desolate” (Matt 23:37-38).
The Israel of Yahweh Are Redeemed
The fulfillment of the promise to the Israel of God is found in part in the following five verses.
Isaiah 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of Yahweh shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance
The identity of the true Israel of Yahweh is a mystery to most, however, His Word describes in vivid detail the identity of the seed to whom the promises were made (Gal 3:16, Eph 2:10-16).
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Messiah’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise
Luke 1:68 Blessed be Yahweh God of Israel; for he hath visited even to redeem his people
Obviously, this refers to all believers in Yahweh, as he did not only come to set free those that resided in Judea.
Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of Yahweh hath taken none effect, for they are not all Israel, which are of Israel
The Israel of Yahweh Revealed
Luke 1:68 Blessed be Yahweh God of Israel; for he hath visited even to redeem his people
Our Messiah and Savior is Yahweh, and He is called the everlasting Father by the prophet Isaiah (Isa 9:6). He also claimed to be the Father, during an insightful conversation with Philip.
Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how then do you say show us the Father (John 14:9)?
Our Messiah spoke in parables to illustrate what is spiritually discerned, as demonstrated in Luke 11:20. But if I with the finger of Yahweh cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of Yahweh is come upon you.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand
