Isaiah 65:1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name
I am found of them that sought me not, is a very confusing statement, how is it that Yahweh is found if one does not first seek after Him?
Isaiah 65:1 I am sought <H1875> of them that asked <H7592> not <H3808> for me; I am found <H4672> of them that sought <H1245> me not <H3808>: I said <H559>, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation <H1471> that was not called <H7121> by my name <H8034>
There was never a nation called by the name of Yahweh, nor will there ever be one in the future.
Yahweh speaks of a rebellious people that had forsaken Him, and followed after their own evil thoughts (Isa 65:2-5, 11). These provoked the wrath and anger of Yahweh (Isa 65:6, 12, 14).
Isa 65:7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith Yahweh, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills…
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers, speaks of an ongoing sinful behavior that is unbroken, however there is a remnant who have set themselves apart; these are called the elect.
Isa 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there
Isa 65:15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for Yahweh shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name
The true Israel of Yahweh, will call upon His name (1 Chron 16:8, Psa 79:6, 105:1, Zep 3:9, 2 Sam 22:4). These Spirit filled believers, are the ones who partake in the actual Second gathering of Israel.
Isaiah 1:4 Ah <H1945> sinful <H2398> nation <H1471>, a people <H5971> laden <H3515> with iniquity <H5771>, a seed <H2233> of evildoers <H7489>, children <H1121> that are corrupters <H7843>: they have forsaken <H5800> <H853> Yahweh <H3068>, they have provoked <H5006> <H0> <H853> the Holy One <H6918> of Israel <H3478> unto anger <H5006>, they are gone away <H2114> backward <H268>
H5006, is also translated as blasphemed.
A sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken Yahweh, they have committed blasphemy against the Holy One of Israel… (Isaiah 1:4).
Isaiah 52:5 Now therefore, what have I here, saith <H5002> Yahweh <H3068>, that my people <H5971> is taken away <H3947> for nought <H2600>? they that rule <H4910> over them make them to howl <H3213>, saith <H5002> Yahweh <H3068>; and my name <H8034> continually <H8548> every day <H3117> is blasphemed <H5006>.
Isaiah 52:5 Now therefore, what have I here, saith Yahweh, that my people is taken away for naught? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith Yahweh; and my name continually every day is blasphemed
Thus says Yahweh, my name continually and daily is blasphemed.
Psa 74:18 Remember thy enemy that is betrothed from you Yahweh, even this foolish people that have blasphemed thy name
And what is that Blasphemy?
Psa 74:10 O Yahweh, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
We are commanded to call upon the name of Yahweh. Also, the title of Lord, does not represent the Glorious name of Yahweh, and must be avoided.
Yahweh alone is the only Savior, and He manifest himself in the flesh to take away the sins of the world.
