We must expose the false teachers in the church along with their deceptive doctrines. The light of Yahweh’s Gospel will shine forth and pierce this present darkness. This illumination of the truth also enables His Church to rightly divide the word of truth.
Far too many people base their understanding of scriptures, on the interpretations given by wolves in sheep’s clothing.
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in God even the Father, who is also our Messiah (Col 2:2-3).
Isaiah 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I Yahweh? and there is no God else beside me; the righteous Yahweh thy Savior; there is none beside me
According to Yahweh Himself there is but one savior. Therefore it is logical and biblical to affirm, that the Son that came forth from the Father is Himself Yahweh, or else He could not be the Savior.
The carnal teachings of men that are without the Spirit of Yahweh, prevent their followers from even realizing the identity of Messiah.
John 15:26-27 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, the same shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
Our teacher ultimately is the Holy Spirit of Yahweh that is received by His Elect. Once we have the infilling of His Spirit we can know the truth that sets us free from the bondage of deceit, false hopes, and self-righteousness.
There are many False Teachers In The Church
Our greatest desire should be to receive the Spirit of truth that enables us to understand, and seek the kingdom of Yahweh (James 4:3-4; Math 6:33).
If we think we have the truth by or in ourselves, we through pride have already prevented the Spirit from abiding in us. This is exactly what the false teachers in the Church are counting on.
1 Cor 2:13-14 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Yahweh: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Unfortunately, too many people readily accept anything that their false teachers have to say. Through the Holy Spirit, the obvious deception that the frauds at the pulpit teach is easily recognized as gibberish.
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
The ten commandments that were given by Yahweh were part of the Old Law, but the Church is no longer under this law. This is the reason why Messiah was sent forth as the manifestation of Yahweh in the flesh (Heb 8:8-10).
For the law of the Spirit of life through Messiah hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).
The false teachers in the Church insist on keeping people under the bondage of the Old Testament laws, in part to keep the tithes coming in. Also, the Sabbath is the day that they plunder the pockets of their unsuspecting flocks to line their own.
Also this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of the Son Himself our Messiah, and love one another as he gave us commandment. So then he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he is in the same. So hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us (1 John 3:23-24).
The New Covenant of Messiah promises a complete forgiveness of sins to those who believe on his name (Mark 16:17, John 1:12).
Those who claim to be justified by the Old Law are actually separated from Messiah, as they are fallen from grace and not led by the Spirit of truth (Gal 5:4; Gal 5:18).
Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law [be] heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect
The frauds at the pulpit also falsely teach that Salvation is accomplished through a formula of words that are recited.
1 Thess 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
Most professing Christians simply have no hope. How can you hope for something that you claim to already possess? The end of our faith is the Salvation of our souls because once you are saved you are always saved; this cannot be lost.
There is no profit in this pretend game of playing church that so many succumb to. There are however great financial profits for the false teachers who have convinced their congregation that the reality of Godliness that they present is the truth. The true joy, wisdom, and power that comes from a Spirit-filled relationship with Yahweh is not realized by those who are kept from His true Gospel.
Pretend pastors or the True Shepherd
No man can rightfully accept the name of a pastor when used in the context of becoming a shepherd of the church, as this title of the shepherd is reserved for our Messiah alone.
Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers
But these false teachers in the Church do not want you to know that there is only but one true shepherd.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
The one who is hired is not the shepherd, and when the charlatans in the Church see destruction coming, they will flee causing the flock to become scattered.
What a fitting description of the Spiritual condition within mainstream Christianity today. So many men who claim to be shepherds (or pastors) are simply leading their flocks astray. Our Messiah warned us of the blindness and apathy that would occur, and intensify towards the end of this age.
Messiah is the head of the Church and no man can legally take the title of Rabbi (that is to say Master) Father, or Shepherd. Messiah (falsely translated as Christ) is our only master and Shepherd, and we are all brethren.
2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto Yahweh, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Far too many within the so-called Christian churches are unwilling and unable to think for themselves as a result of their many false teachers.
2 Tim 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables
False preachers are Leading People Astray
Declaring that God wants to bless us with everything we desire to satisfy the desires of our flesh is the new gospel presented by the false teachers, and it is very popular doctrine. Preaching about taking up one’s cross and suffering alongside our Messiah has been replaced with the Pre-tribulation Rapture Deception.
1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Yahweh: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned
Without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the truth of Yahweh cannot be known. An incredible deception presented to a sleeping church is that all who accept the Messiah are automatically born again.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, the same shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
If Christians who claim to be Born again truly were, all of the false teachers in the Church would be exposed, and their so-called church buildings would be vacant.
2 Cor 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Messiah, who is the image of Yahweh, should shine unto them
This is a real warning given to the believer, below we will examine some common teachings propagated by the fraudulent teachers, and compare them to the truths contained in the Word of Yahweh.
1 Tim 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Most preachers would say that the double honor mentioned here is monetary in nature and payable in part to them. However, the true laborer has the reward of living by the very words of the gospel that they preach.
1 Cor 9:13-14 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? Even so hath Yahweh ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
The reward that the con-artists in the Church seek after is a monetary one. They have no problem whatsoever in twisting scriptures to facilitate this plunder.
The meaning of the word honor, that is used in double honor in first Timothy 5:17, in no way refers to money (1 Cor 12: 23; 1 Tim 1:17; 1 Peter 1:7).
Likewise, the rewards that are spoken of in first Timothy 5:18, are not monetary in nature either. But the false teachers are businessmen – money and fame are their desired goals.
Matt 10:7-8 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
We are not to turn the gospel message into a business opportunity, and no one should profit from sharing the Word of Yahweh with others.
Deceptive Doctrines within Christianity
Since the advent of the New Covenant, several changes were made that are not understood by the false teachers or their converts. Large glamorous buildings are never to be referred to as churches, as this is the title for the body of Yahweh.
The dwelling place of Yahweh is no longer in temples made with hands. His Spirit now dwells within each true believer that faithfully follows him (Acts 7:48; Acts 17:24; 1Cor 3:17; 1Cor 6:19).
False preachers do usually present some truths in their sermons, however, the majority of the messages they present will be based upon their own interpretations. Without the Holy Spirit to teach us the truth, we can only use our own wisdom – this produces deception.
1 Cor 9:18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Messiah without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
It is indeed a tragedy that the lost and deceived think they are Saved as a result of adhering to deceptive messages.
1 Peter 5:2-3 Feed the flock of Yahweh which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over Yahweh’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
So often we hear these false teachers recite extravagant prayers that really impress those around them, because of the elegance and grandeur of their words. The crowd is led to believe that these men are full of the Spirit, when in fact they are but impostors.
Matt 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
The doctrine of baptism is a mystery to most because the false teachers in the Church have distorted the simple truth of this gift from Yahweh. But it is very simple to understand if you have the Spirit of discernment.
Luke 3:16-17 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire
Messiah did not perform water baptism unto repentance, but rather the baptism of His Holy Spirit unto Salvation. He that believes and is Baptized (by the Holy Spirit) shall be Saved (Mark 16:16; Gal 3:27; Math 24:13). Emphasis added
Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please Yahweh
False Teachers In The Church are Deceivers
The false teachers in the Church operate in the flesh, and regard the things of the flesh. As a result of their guidance as it were, those that they teach also have a focus on material things and selfish desires. These people want a god that will accept their self-righteousness and worldly pursuits and still consider them righteous.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Yahweh dwells in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Messiah, he is not of Messiah
If we do not have the Spirit of Messiah the Savior who is the very Image of Yahweh, dwelling within us then we are not His children.
Those who are filled with the Holy Spirit recognize the lies passed off as truths, by the charlatans in the Church.
2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of Yahweh spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit
As the above verses point out to us, no one individual or group has control over or final authority on the correct understanding of what is written in these books that make up the Holy Bible.
This task is reserved for Yahweh’s Spirit that teaches us all things. And yet many people hold up their so-called pastors to a god-like level, convinced that they alone are empowered with the truth and understanding of scripture.
There are many manipulative techniques used by the deceivers in the Church that enable them to be in control. Few question their position of power or authority, as they are led to believe that it is God ordained.
- False preachers use suggestive words and emotional conditioning through lighting, soft music and or a teary-eyed plea. These are some of the tactics employed to manipulate people to respond in a certain manner.
- False teachers in the Church deceive by omission, this is when they leave out some of the truth, to present their truth. This is also known as propaganda.
- They are masters at seduction using their voice, stance, confidence and image to grab the attention of a crowd and keep it.
- With almost a magical charm they can allure or captivate the audience with a hypnotic-like manipulation of the truth.
- Claims are made that the ministry is in trouble, and without immediate financial contributions, many will suffer. People do not like to see or hear of sufferings, and if they are made to feel responsible, it is usually fairly easy to get them to cooperate.
- Pretend pastors like to be seen as having the role of being God’s ordained teachers, or prophets. Once they have obtained this cult-like status, people no longer even think for themselves. As well they sometimes violently protect the belief system and the leader(s) that they unwittingly worship.
With the tactics above employed it is easy for the many charlatans in the Church to masquerade using a disguising pretense, and thus cloak or hide a self-serving agenda, under the pretext of operating as the servant or spokesperson of God.
Eph 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Spiritually speaking, we are to put our trust in no man. Only Yahweh can be totally trusted, and He alone has the power to redeem us.
These verses in Ephesians are a condensed version of the believers journey unto Salvation. We hear the message of truth revealed to us in the gospel that shows us the path unto Salvation. Then once we trust and believe the Word, we can become sealed by means of the Baptism of Yahweh’s Spirit.
This infilling of the Spirit is a down payment on the purchased possession wherein our Savior bought us through His shed blood. The inheritance is when we are Saved, and join Him for all of eternity with incorruptible bodies.
Many hear the Word by means of a teacher or preacher. However, to stay under the control of a teacher, never graduating so to speak, is not at all what is expected of us. Hearing the messenger, if he is truly sent by Yahweh, is only the first part of one’s walk. The next step is to be taught by Yahweh’s Spirit, and then receive the power to know the truth and partake in the ministry.
To be effective in the ministry, pride ego and self-centered or self-righteous behaviors should not be at all present. Yahweh reveals His truth to all that ask in faith and love, but we must be humble and submit to His commandments and will.
When one truly believes in Yahweh by the power of His Spirit through a real faith, it is natural to obey, follow and be faithful even unto death. We are not to be deceived by men. Most of the deception is at the hands of the false teachers in the Church (Math 24:4).
Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
We are all to bear the cross with our eyes set on Messiah the Savior who is the image of Yahweh, thus fulfilling the mission of becoming a vital part of the church. The average person thinks that the Christian experience involves the following:
- Spending an hour a week at a building that is incorrectly referred to as a church.
- Giving money, incorrectly referred to as tithes, to 501-c3 corporations posing as the church.
- Repeating verses that they are led to recite under the illusion that doing so will ensure their immediate salvation.
These actions have nothing to do with bearing the cross of our Savior; they prove a complete lack of the Spiritual understanding and depth required to follow Yahweh.
