A well known Christian Salvation Bible verse is, it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Act 2:21).
How many who study the Word, are even aware that the word Lord (G2962 – kyrios), is simply a Greek title that refers to men. The etymology, or root word of kyrios, is from kuros which has a meaning of supremacy. The word kyrios, translated as Lord in English, is not derived from the true name of Yahweh (H3068) the Creator.
Jer 23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
Strong’s transliterates H1168 בַּעַל, as Baal, or “lord” as in a supreme male divinity of the Phoenicians or Canaanites. To replace the name of Yahweh the Father, with a title of lord represents a sinful act of epic proportions.
1 Sam 12:10 And they cried unto Yahweh, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken Yahweh, and have served Baal and Ashtaroth; but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved
The question is, what is the name we are to call upon, unto our Salvation?
That at the name of Yahweh every knee should bow, those in heaven, as well as those on this earth, even those under the earth. Also every tongue shall confess that Yahweh is Messiah… (Phil 2:10-11).
All shall stand before the judgment seat of Messiah, and every tongue shall acknowledge Yahweh (Romans 14:10-11).
Look unto the One that saves, all the ends of the earth: for I am Yahweh, and there is none else (Isa 45:22).
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return. That unto me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess (Isa 45:23).
We are commanded to worship Yahweh alone, and our Messiah was worshiped from the day of His birth (Exo 34:14, Isa 66:22-23, Mat 10:4, Mat 2:11, Rev 5:10, 20:4-5, 21:1, 22:5-7, 21:23).
Psa 29:2 Give unto Yahweh the glory due unto his name; worship Yahweh in the beauty of holiness
According to the Judaic religion, the name Yahweh was to sacred to be spoken, contrary to what Yahweh commanded (Gen 4:26, 1 Kings 18:24, 1 Chron 16:8, Psa 99:6, 105:1, 145:3). So they disobeyed Yahweh, and named the Creator Lord, God and adonai.
Yahweh shall be king over all the earth in that day, there is only one Yahweh, and his name is one (Deut 6:4, Zec 14:9, Isa 2:2-4, Mat 2:2, 21:5, 25:31-34, Mark 12:29, Eph 4:5-6).
A whole multitude of His disciples said, Blessing (or praise) to The King that cometh in (or with) the name of Yahweh, peace in heaven, and glory to the Most High (Luke 19:38).
The three wise men came to worship the King of Judea, and they presented Him with offerings of their treasures (Mat 2:2-6). This child that came forth from Yahweh, is the image thereof (Isa 9:6). He will rule the true Israel of Yahweh.
The Spirit of Yahweh in us produces love, joy and faith; the end result of our faith is the salvation of our souls (1 Peter 1:9, Gal 5:22).
Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endures unto the end shall be saved
The Savior was asked, are there only a small number of people that will be saved?
He replied, and said, strive to enter in at the strait gate, for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able (Luke 13:23-24).
The word strive, is used as a metaphor in this verse. It means to contend, struggle, with difficulties and dangers to obtain something of great value.
Luke 9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it
Unless we are born again (with the infilling of Yahweh’s Spirit), we will not experience the kingdom of Yahweh (Rom 5:9, 9:27, John 3:3).
Too many believers are falsely taught that they are born-again, and yet they have never experienced the true indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It is only when Yahweh’s Spirit lives within us, that we can truly hear and believe unto everlasting life (John 5:24, 14:17; 15:26; 16:13; Eph 1:13).
Messiah our Savior taught that unless you believe and are Baptized you shall not be Saved.
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized (with the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Emphasis added
The Baptism performed by John was unto repentance, but the Baptism of Yahweh’s Spirit is unto Salvation (Luke 3:16).
Only upon our Messiah’s return to earth can this redemptive process (that is known as Salvation) take place.
It is taught that those who are sealed witness to the world, and that the Great Tribulation is a time for Israel to come to salvation, as all the Christians are raptured away. Below are the facts that prove this theory to also be false, as well as the relevant verses that refer to those that are sealed.
John 6:27 Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: indeed the same that are set apart unto Yahweh the Father are sealed
The earnest (which is a down payment) of our inheritance with Messiah, is that we are sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. The fulfillment of this contract is our redemption which is realized when Messiah returns with our Salvation (Eph 1:13-14, Heb 9:28, 1 Peter 1:5).
And then shall the Son of man appear, and when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption is near (Luke 21:27-28).
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of Yahweh, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption
The Spirit of Messiah bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of Yahweh (Romans 8:16).
2 Thes 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks always to Yahweh for you, brethren beloved of Yahweh because Yahweh hath from the beginning chosen you unto salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth
Christian Salvation represents a future occurrence
Those who endure unto the end shall be Saved, this is a concise Salvation Bible verse (Matt 24:13).
Holiness and the belief of the truth, is the end result once Yahweh’s Spirit dwells within us. To be sealed by Him, is to become His purchased possession. The souls of the Elect will be Saved (Mat 10:28, 2 Cor 1:22).
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him
The great tribulation is not the wrath of the Lamb. Yahweh’s wrath is the separation of the righteous from the sinners for all of eternity (Isa 13:9, Math 25:41, Rev 11:18).
1 Peter 1:5 These are kept by the power of Yahweh through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time
The gospel of Our Messiah, is the power of Yahweh unto Salvation (Rom 1:16).
James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls
At the judgment of Yahweh, if the righteous scarcely be Saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear (1 Peter 4:18).
1 Cor 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us that are to be saved, it is the power of Yahweh
Everyone must have a solid foundation that is built upon a true relationship with Yahweh. Our faith in Him will be tried in much the same way as our works. The end result of a real faith is the reward of eternal life (1 Cor 3:11-14, 1 Tim 6:12, John 3:21).
Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Yahweh
Messiah the Savior Revealed In The Old Testament
And it shall be said in that day, Yahweh we have waited for our Salvation, Yahweh we have waited, we will be joyful and rejoice in our Salvation (Isaiah 25:9).
The hope of Salvation allows the faithful to endure all things through the power of Yahweh the Savior (Mat 10:22, 10:39, 19:29, 24:9).
Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith
Two pieces of defensive armor for believers include the breastplate of faith, and a helmet, which is the hope of our Salvation (1 Thes 5:8, Eph 6:17).
We can not hope for something that we claim albeit falsely, to already possess (Romans 8:23-25).
