What Does it mean to be raptured?

The rapture of the church is often taught as the event when God snatches away true believers from the earth so that they are not subject to His coming judgment.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:9, we read that God has not appointed us to wrath, which is very true.

There is no secret rapture of the Church, and ‘Yahweh’s Power and Glory’ will be demonstrated when He gathers His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven unto the other, after the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:27-31).
