Essential Christian teachings
The entire Word of God represents the essential Christian teachings of Yahshua our Messiah. Nothing in the Word of God is to be considered as non-essential.
Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
A combination of contradictory words is the statement that in essentials we are to have unity and in non-essentials liberty. This idea is nonsensical, but it does express rather well the mindset many have towards Holy Scripture. We all need the Holy Spirit of truth to teach us the Word of God, for without this gift even the understanding of what Salvation is, or when it occurs is obstructed. When the vast majority of professing Christians declare as a result of their blind guides, that they already are saved, they are then unified by a man-made version of essential Christian teachings.
The essential Christian teaching regarding Salvation is one of the most misunderstood doctrines of mainstream Christianity.
1 Thess 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation
We can have the assurance that we will be Saved if we faithfully endure until the end. As a result of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the sure hope of receiving our Salvation is confirmed.
Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, God we have waited for our Salvation, Yahweh we have waited, we will be joyful and rejoice in Yahshua
Essential Christian teachings of Yahshua
Essential Christian teachings show us that we can have the assurance of Salvation through Yahshua. This is when we are sealed with his Holy Spirit of promise, unto our inheritance of eternal life with Him.
The end result of faithfully following Yahshua is rejoicing in the Salvation that He rewards His Elect with upon His glorious return to this earth. We can’t lose something we don’t yet possess. For this reason, we know that it is impossible to lose our Salvation.
Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
John did not baptize with water and expect immediate repentance, it would be a process. Through the essential Christian teachings, the knowledge that our Salvation will be revealed at the last day is established and certain. A true follower of the Messiah has a real faith because of the indwelling of His Holy Spirit and is thus transformed (Rom 8:9-11, 12:2).
One of the essential Christian teachings is that we must endure until the end, and this involves much tribulation.
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
However, most are unwilling to partake in tribulations, so they create a new gospel that will eliminate this fear. The man-made fable of a pre-tribulation rapture is one of these many strange beliefs that the false church holds onto. Ironically it is also considered to be one of the non-essential doctrines. This is, in fact, true as it represents a non-existent teaching that Yahshua clearly refuted.
Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
The false teachers in the Christian church do great harm to the very understanding of Salvation, as they falsely teach that Salvation is realized through works. To claim that Salvation occurs in the present tense removes faith and hope from occurring.
1 Thess 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
However we can have the assurance of Salvation, and this hope of our unification with Yahshua gives us a Faith that will endure until the end.
Matt 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
So then, true faith and hope are most assuredly two of the most important essential Christian teachings related to Salvation.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
But how can you hope for something you already believe to possess (2 Tim 2:14-18)?
The essential Christian teachings confirmed by the Holy Spirit provide the true follower’s of Yahshua with the assurance that they shall obtain the Salvation of their souls (1 Peter 1:9).
Essential Christian teachings bring about transformation
The true understanding of Faith in Christ, through the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and the transformation it brings to the believer are essential Christian teachings. In fact, all other faiths demonstrated through man-made religions represent the light at the end of the tunnel that is never discovered.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The word transformed actually means metamorphosis. Through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, we put on the mind of Christ, discern the truth, and walk in the light instead of darkness.
Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
The word converted has several meanings. It is used to describe turning away from something that is evil, but it can also allude to embracing that same evil.
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
The true faith in the Word of God causes one to repent and turn away from the things of this world. We need to be converted and put aside our lusts for this world and the things therein.
Gal 4:8-9 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Paul talks about the New Law of Christ and inquires why anyone would want to return to the bondage of the Old Law.
2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Yahshua the Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
The pollution of the world includes contaminating our minds with deceptive teachings on the Old Testament Law, and when we are gathered unto Yahshua.
The essential Christian teachings, regarding the Old Testament Law of Christ, are imperative if we are to remain true to the Christian Faith.
Essential Christian teachings on the New Covenant
He came unto his own and they received him not. But to those who did receive him, he gave them the power to become the sons of God. These were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:11-13).
Isaiah 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith Yahweh; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
There are several hidden mysteries contained in the essential Christian teachings. One of them is that it is impossible to mix the New Testament Covenant, that has the power to take away sins, with the Old Testament Law that could only temporarily cover them.
Putting new wine into an old bottle will cause both to perish, as the new wine is not meant for an old bottle. Through the Holy Spirit of Yahshua that resides within the elect, our temples are made new allowing us to accept the New Covenant promise unto life.
Many of the essential Christian teachings are presented as parables. However, through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, these mysteries are clearly revealed to us. Yahshua has brought forth the good or new wine which is the New Covenant, last. The first wine representing the Old Covenant was not nearly as good. Also, the first covenant was fulfilled and completed with the first advent of Yahshua and has since vanished (John 2:10, Heb 8:13, Luke 24:44).
Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Yahshua’s ultimate sacrifice for us forever removed the possibility of the Old Testament sacrifices from ever occurring again as He was the final sacrifice.
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither can they have the understanding of the treasures yet to be revealed in Yahshua, that He has prepared for all of his children that Love His appearing. Those that walk according to the spirit of this world are deaf, blind and without any knowledge of His hidden mysteries (1 Cor 2:7-16; Rom 6:16-23; Isa 64:4).
None could ever escape the law of sin and death but through the New covenant of Yahshua (Gal 3:16, Rev 12:17).
Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect
The essential Christian teachings of the New Covenant of Yahshua, frees us from the law of sin and death, by means of the law of the Spirit of life in Him (Rom 8:2).
Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord
Essential Christian teachings encourage us to seek after Yahshua who is the architect of both the Old and New Covenants. Let the false teachers of the cult who adhere to the so-called Christian doctrine of the trinity explain Hebrews chapter eight.
If Yahshua knocks, let Him in so that the Spiritual Blessings may be yours (Gal 6:8; Math 6:19-20; Luke 12:21-34; Math 6:33).
2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The New Covenant of Yahshua is Spiritual and is put into our minds and written in our hearts (Heb 8:10).
