The name of Jesus is Yahshua
The name of Jesus is Yahshua, and although His name has been purposely concealed, it is time once again that it be revealed.
Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
The name of Jesus is Yahshua a name above all names
All power over both in Heaven and on earth belongs to the Savior. The name of Jesus is Yahshua, and His name is above every name that is named, not only in this world but also in the world to come (Eph 1:16-21, Mat 28:18, Rev 22:13).
The Son of man was born as a Hebrew and He had a Hebrew name as well. The name of Jesus is Yahshua, the Almighty God, the Eternal Father who is also our Salvation (Isa 9:6).
Apparently, Jesus is the English translation of the Greek word Iesous, or Ἰησοῦς in Latin. But regardless of whether it is a Latinized Greek hybrid, or even Aramaic for that matter why should Yahshua be given an English name? It is not a transliteration of the Hebrew word Yahshua, nor is it a translation either. It simply is not the name of the creator of all things.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils
The semicolon, used in the above verse, is a punctuation mark that separates major sentence elements, however, is used without warrant.
The signs shall follow those who believe in His name; these are the ones who cast out devils.
John 1:11-12 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name
The name of Jesus although engrained in the minds of millions is not found in the Hebrew language. There is no Letter J, nor is there even a J sound in the Hebrew or Greek languages. Also, the letter J was not introduced into the English language until many centuries after the birth of Yahshua.
John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but the same sent me
Yahshua is God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16). Yahshua did not come forth from Himself, but He proceeded or came forth from Yahweh. The same can be said of his name.
John 5:43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
This passage refers to Yahshua who carried His Father’s name which is Yahweh.
Any Hebrew scholar will tell you that the name of Jesus is Yahshua, although they may use several slight variations of that name, such as Yeshua or Yahushua.
Many Hebrew names are in fact compound names, and Yahweh and Yahshua are two of the greatest examples. Yahshua is a combination of Yahweh’s personal name Yah, and shua. The name Yahshua literally means Yahweh is salvation, or Yah has become my Salvation.
The name of Jesus is Yahshua or Yahweh is Salvation
Lest we forget, the reason that the false tribe of Judah conspired to slay the Messiah was the result of His declaration “I am also the Father (we) are one.”
John 10:30-31 I and my Father are one. Then the Judeans took up stones again to stone him.
Yahshua said, ” I am come in my Father’s name.” He came with the authority of Yahweh, and also He came forth or out of Yahweh. Yahshua literally carries His Father’s Name which is Yah. The name of Jesus carries with it no glorious meaning at all, it is simply a poor example of a root Greek or Latin to English hybrid.
Names are not usually translated from language to language but are transliterated instead.
A translation occurs when text from one language is converted to a close equivalent text in another language with the intent of keeping the original meaning intact.
A transliteration occurs when words are changed into corresponding characters of another alphabet or language.
Also a translation usually provides the meaning of a name or word but not necessarily the sound, whereas a transliteration provides the sound but not necessarily the meaning.
The reality is that the name of Jesus is Yahshua, our Savior’s true name has a unique sound and an absolutely profound meaning. The name of Jesus however, has no real meaning whatsoever, and does not represent a translation or a transliteration.
Below are a few examples of a transliteration from a Greek word to its English equivalent.
- Baptisma is transliterated to Baptism and usually means immersion.
- Epistole is transliterated to Epistle and usually means a letter.
- Aggelos is transliterated to Angel and it literally means a messenger.
When we think of the word Angel the thought of a heavenly being comes to mind. This word aggelos however, sounds like the English equivalent but carries with it several meanings.
- HalleluYah is a Hebrew word, and it is a perfect example of a proper transliteration. Hallelujah sounds similar to the original word in just about every language on earth.
The first part of the word, hallelu, means praise, or praise to. The second part, Yah, is the name of the one being praised, the Almighty God.
The name of Jesus is Yahshua a Hebrew name
The name of Jesus is Yahshua in the Hebrew tongue, and when improperly transliterated from Hebrew into Greek and finally into English a great crime is committed.
First of all the name Jesus is not really a transliteration at all. It represents a corrupted translation with purposeful intent. The next two paragraphs, as well as corresponding verses, are from an article entitled, Pray to the Father in the name of Jesus. This should help the reader understand the motive behind this crime, as well as the spiritual mindset of the perpetrators.
1 Thes 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men
The name of Jesus is Yahshua, He should have brought the entire tribe of Judah great joy. The Messiah came to the Judeans first, but most rejected him, even though He was the promised one that Moses and the prophets spoke of (Luke 24:44, John 1:45).
Acts 5:40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go
The Judeans, who represented the false house of Judah that was declared desolate, took counsel to slay Saul because he dared to speak in the name of Jesus. These same children of the devil conspired to have the Messiah murdered as well (Mat 26:4, Luke 13:35, Acts 9:23, 1 Thes 2:15).
A similar crime is committed wherein the name of Yahweh is translated as Lord. The name Lord has no Spiritual meaning whatsoever; pretentious English politicians are called lords, as in the house of lords.
Ezek 39:7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them profane my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.
(My) name (will be) known among the people of Israel (that) profane my Holy name.
The name of Jesus is Yahshua who came forth from Yahweh
The nations (shall) know (or have the knowledge of) Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel (Isa 1:3-4, 5:24, 51:7).
John 8:42 Yahshua said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but the same sent me.
The righteous Branch, who shall be the reigning King, shall also bring forth judgment and righteousness to the earth (Jer 23:5, Isa 1:1-11, John 5:22, 2 Cor 5:10).
Jer 23:6 …and this is his name whereby he shall be called, the Lord our righteousness
The Lord our righteousness is another compound Hebrew word that means Yahweh’s righteousness, or the Righteousness of Yahweh (Isa 11:4-5).
Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus
The name of Jesus is Yahshua, and He is also the righteous judge that will reward His own with the crown of righteousness (Phl 3:9, 2 Tim 4:8).
Rev 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
Yahshua is the Almighty God, the Prince of Peace and the Everlasting Father (Isa 9:6).
Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said <H559> in that day <H3117>, Lo, this is our God <H430>; we have waited <H6960> for him, and he will save <H3467> us: this is the LORD <H3068>; we have waited <H6960> for him, we will be glad <H1523> and rejoice <H8055> in his salvation <H3444>
And it shall be said in that day, this is our God; we have waited for the Savior. Yahweh we have waited we will be joyful and rejoice in Yahshua (Isaiah 25:9).
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
We look for the blessed hope and also the glorious second advent of the Great God who is also our Savior, Yahshua the Messiah (Titus 2:13).
