Faith without works is dead
Faith without works is dead because a Saving faith only transpires in those who are Sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (John 14:17-18, Rom 8:2-14).
The earnest, which is the down payment of our inheritance with Christ, is to be Sealed with the Spirit of God (2 Cor 1:21-22).
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
And then shall the Son of man appear, and when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads for your Redemption is near (Luke 21:27-28).
The fulfillment of this contract is our Redemption which is realized when Christ returns with our Salvation (Eph 1:13-14, Heb 9:28, 1 Peter 1:5).
The simple definition of faith is to place your trust or confidence in someone or something. But if that faith is misplaced then your faith without works is dead. The reason why is that from a Spiritual perspective, faith in anyone other than Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah is unto dead works.
Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith (Heb 13:7 NLT).
This new living translation of Heb 13:7, represents a gross mistranslation with purposeful deceit. However, this is a good representation of why faith without works is dead. To base your belief in God upon the doctrines and commandments of men is unfaithfulness.
Matt 15:8-9 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Faith without works is dead when the Spirit of Christ is absent
Faith is one of the greatest God-given gifts ever given unto mankind, but faith without works is dead when this gift is obstructed, due to false teachings and empty beliefs.
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Our faith must not be based on the wisdom of men, but in the mighty works of God (1 Cor 2:5).
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
True faith is the result of a new life in Christ wherein our faith is established and certain through the workings of His Spirit.
Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the working of God, who hath raised himself from the dead
Faith without works is dead when the author of faith is not included. Jesus Christ is the author and the completion of our faith (Heb 12:2).
James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Faith without works is dead when it is based upon a carnal mindset. Once we are Baptized by the Holy Spirit, the fruits thereof can be received. An essential part of the armor of God is the shield of faith (Eph 6:11-17, Rom 8:7, Gal 5:22-23).
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saves us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost
The Lord who is faithful is the one that strengthens us and keeps us from evil (2 Thes 3:3)
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations
Our confidence, therefore, is in Christ, who has established good works in us and will also further fulfill these workings, until He returns with our reward of everlasting life (John 4:14, Phil 1:6)
Those who set out to establish their faith after the doctrines and commandments of men have created for themselves a light that is actually darkness. The penalty for self-righteousness through dead works is death (Luke 11:35).
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Those who abide in the truth come to the light which is Christ, the result being that their works are demonstrated to be commissioned by God (John 2:27, John 3:21).
1 Cor 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
The works of the flesh include idolatry, seditions and heresies. Those who are involved in these crimes do not have a Saving faith and cannot inherit the kingdom of God (Gal 5:19-21).
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
The ability to truly understand Christ and His life-changing testimony is impossible without His Spirit.
We are not automatically Born-again because of a profession of faith alone.
Reciting a statement of faith without the presence of the Holy Spirit that enables this transformation is simply an empty formula of words without substance. This is a false promise that false teachers tell their congregations, and it leads to death and destruction (John 15:26; 16:13; Eph 1:13).
Faith without works is dead | The great Salvation deception
The great Salvation deception is a destructive and deadly doctrine preached to and believed by the majority within the religion of Christianity. Not only is Salvation impossible to obtain before Christ returns with our Salvation, it is also impossible to be saved without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
This is the reason Jesus will say to many upon his Glorious return, “depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you”. Indeed, the Christian Salvation deception is deadly, and many will be damned as a result of not truly living for Jesus (Jer 17:13; Psalm 101:4; Mathew 7:15-23).
Faith without works is dead, and those who claim that they already have obtained their Salvation are blind and have a faith that is built upon empty promises.
Rev 3:15-17 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Faith without works is dead. Likewise to be carnally minded is unto death, but to be spiritually minded is unto life and peace (Rom 8:6).
1 Cor 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Faith without works is dead when it is built upon the wisdom and teachings of men.
1 Cor 12:8-9 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; faith by the same Spirit;
Faith that is not established or received through the workings of the Holy Spirit is worldly. In this respect, a Christian faith without the power of God is equal to the faith of all other man-made religions of deception that the enemy has planted in the minds of those who are deceived.
Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power
As a result of the Spirit of God that resides within the Elect, they have the ability to faithfully endure all things waiting for the hope of righteousness through Christ’s gift of faith (Gal 5:4-5).
2 Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
1 Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
The faithful believers, who have submitted unto the Lordship of the Messiah, are in good hands. Christ Jesus who is the good shepherd does indeed watch over and keep the souls of his sheep.
Heb 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls
The purposeful deception by means of adding to, or taking away, from the true Word of God is evident in the above verse.
Those who can rightly divide the Word of truth through the Spirit of God within them, are able to easily uncover translational errors.
The gross distortions contained within certain scriptures, that are inserted to justify the subjugation of the masses, are particularly disturbing to those who have eyes to see (Heb 13:7, 13). The new living translation is even more pathetic than the King James version in this regard.
Mainstream Christianity is all but dead as a result of adhering to the doctrines of wolves in sheep’s clothing, whose goal it is to fleece the masses from Spiritual as well as financial treasures.
Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit (Heb 13:17 NLT)
So yes, faith without works is dead, when it is based on worldly wisdom, through the teaching of those who are without the Spirit of truth. True faith is embedded in the hearts and minds of the Elect through Jesus the Messiah. The faith that Yahshua (Jesus) provides us with, is not just a blind hope or allegiance to something that is perceived to be true or real, it is a certainty that is seen through Spiritual eyes.
Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
